This is brief guide to having a Morley Hayes wedding based on my experiences photographing weddings there. I’m a fun, documentary style wedding photographer in Uttoxeter.

Morley Hayes describes their wedding venue on their website as follows:

Enjoy a private, secluded wedding celebrating your entire day in the midst of the Derbyshire countryside equidistant between Nottingham and Derby,  with the exclusive use of the Barns at Morley Hayes.

From menus to budget – we will design a package that ticks every box, covers every detail, and grants all of your wedding wishes.  A wedding at Morley Hayes will be a day to cherish forever.

I love photographing weddings here. The venue staff are all super-helpful and incredibly kind and easy to work with. There’s loads of lovely areas in the surrounding gardens to get some beautiful and natural portrait shots of the bride and groom. There’s a spacious garden at the back for your drinks reception and enough room to get family photos and group shot photos.

The wedding breakfast room, which later becomes your evening reception room and dance floor is beautiful. It has the feel of a converted barn with exposed beams and brickwork throughout. The venue makes your photos of guests having a great time look really good and the lighting is stunning.
